Lark and Michael (picture) moved to Pennsylvania in June 2000 to follow their dream of becoming Innkeepers. They most recently lived in Tennessee where Lark worked for Nortel Networks as a Marketing Manager and Michael was an independent computer consultant. Michael's talents in home restoration can be seen throughout Lovelace Manor. With their roots in the South, they hope to offer a touch of southern hospitality to their historic Pennsylvania Victorian mansion.
One of Lark's interests includes genealogy. One of her more famous ancestors is the great 17th century poet Richard Lovelace, whose works are found throughout the house. She is also an eBay enthusiast where she has been able to collect Lovelace patterned china, silver and crystal to compliment the furnishings of Lovelace Manor.
Michael spent over 25 years in the upholstery business where he specialized in antique furniture restoration and aircraft interiors. Their son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Renee, moved to Pennsylvania with them. Kevin is an auto mechanic in Lancaster, and Renee helps run the Bed and Breakfast part time. Their first child Brenden was born Dec 19th. 2000 and their second child Claire was born May 13th. 2004
The McCarley family welcome you into their home and look forward to meeting new friends and extending their hospitality.
